The Printing Process

Screen printing is a stencil method of print making in which a design is stenciled on a fine mesh screen. With blank areas coated with emulsion, ink is forced through the uncoated mesh and onto the printing surface. The process is also known as silkscreen, seriography, and serigraph.

Due to the complex nature of screen printed orders, and factors that may be unclear to first time shoppers, Corvallis Custom will only authorize your payment upon checkout. This allows our designers time to review each order in detail, to assure you artwork conforms to the standards of screen printing. Should an issue arise, it also allows us time to render proofs using the color options you’ve selected.
