Why Corvallis Custom

Printing is the easy part

Anyone can put ink on a shirt. What you're actually buying is someone who catches the problem before it prints and makes sure the second order matches the first.

One partner for every format

Apparel, signs, paper, and promo through a single project manager who learns your brand and what you're trying to accomplish. You brief one person instead of juggling four vendors.

A local project manager on every job

Not a ticket queue. Someone in Corvallis who knows your brand, tells you when a design won't print well, and steers the job toward the outcome you actually wanted.

Repeatable results at any scale

16+ years and calibrated equipment mean job number two matches job number one, whether that's twelve shirts or twelve hundred.

Lower-impact by default

We'll recommend lower-impact inks and materials and right-size production so you're not paying for waste.

No minimums

Order one. Or twelve hundred.

Most shops need twelve, twenty-four, or forty-eight pieces before they'll turn the press on. We don't. Print one shirt for a new hire, one banner for Saturday, or one sample before you commit to the full run — same quality check, same designer, same shop.

How it works

You'll always know where your job stands

  1. Scope and quote

We start with the goal, not the product. What are you trying to accomplish, and what's the budget? Your project manager walks you through good, better, and best options, then sends a formal quote so you know exactly what you're getting before anything moves.

  2. Art and proof

Our in-house design team builds a mockup of your actual products — not a generic template. Before it reaches you, a designer runs your files against our print checklist: 12 quality-control categories covering up to 68 individual technical checkpoints, from resolution and color separation to placement tolerances and fabric compatibility. Which apply depends on your product and print method. You get an email, click through, and see each item rendered as it'll be produced. Approve it or ask for changes — proofs come back within one business day.

  3. Sourcing

Over 10,000 printable items across our vendors — apparel, hats, bottles, pens, signage. Most blanks arrive within a day or two. A few take up to a week, and we tell you that up front rather than after you've committed.

  4. Production

Your art goes onto every item using the right press and the right method for the material. Apparel and large format are produced here in Corvallis.

  5. Quality control

A print supervisor and your project manager check every piece against spec before anything leaves. Then it ships, or we call you for pickup.

Track it yourself, any time

Every job gets its own project page from the moment we send the quote. Approve the quote, pay, sign off on artwork, and watch your order move from staging to production to QC to ready-for-pickup. No wondering, and no chasing anyone for an update.

There's a door you can walk through

We're on NW 9th Street. Bring a sample in, feel fabric weights in person, talk through an idea at the counter, or pick your job up on the way home. Sixteen years in the same town means a lot of our work comes from someone spotting a shirt at an event and asking where it came from.

We show up for this town

We sponsor, partner with, or donate to more than 30 local organizations — youth sports, the humane society, the library, the Majestic, the Half Marathon, robotics teams, and food and housing nonprofits across the valley. If it pulls the community together, we're probably printing for it.

Questions

The things people ask us most

Is there a minimum order?

No. One shirt, one banner, one sample — same designer and same quality check as a run of a thousand.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the item, the print method, how many print locations, and the artwork. There's no single price list, which is why every quote is built around your actual job. For apparel, our design tool prices live as you build.

How long does it take?

Your proof comes back within one business day. After you approve it, most blanks arrive within a day or two — a few items take up to a week, and we'll tell you which before you commit.

Can I see it before you print it?

Always. Our design team mocks up your actual products and sends them through your project page. Nothing goes to press without your approval.

Do you offer rush service?

Yes. Rush starts at $50 and rises with the real costs involved — expedited shipping, overtime, and so on. We talk through every rush before we start so you know the cost and the deadlines we both need to hit. We'll do everything on our end, though we can't control a carrier once a package leaves us. If something slips, you'll hear it from us straight away.

What artwork should I send?

Vector files are best — .ai, .eps, and .psd all work. If you only have a photo or a logo image, send the largest version you have. Screens display at 72 dpi and we print at up to 1440, so a picture that looks sharp on your monitor can print at a fraction of its size. Avoid pulling images from Instagram or Facebook, which compress them heavily. If your file isn't print-ready, our design team can rebuild it.

Can I bring my own shirts?

Yes, as long as they're brand new and unwashed — detergent stays in the fabric and reacts badly with our printing. Pricing works a little differently on supplied garments, and we'll walk you through the details before anything is printed.

Do you ship, or do I pick up?

Either. Pick up at the shop on NW 9th, or we'll ship it to you. Swag store orders ship directly to each buyer.

What's a swag store?

Your own branded store on our site. Supporters order whenever they like, we print each item as it's ordered and ship it directly to them within three business days. No end date and no minimums.

Do you do vehicle wraps?

We do window graphics and lettering on panels rather than full wraps. For anything larger, we'll point you to someone who specializes in it.

Still have a question?

Ready when you are

Tell us what you're trying to make

Send artwork, a rough sketch, or just an idea. We'll come back with options at three price points and a proof within one business day. No minimums, no obligation, and a real person on the other end.
